The 3rd Annual Bike the Blossoms event will take you through breathtaking streets lined with cherry blossoms in a variety of Vancouver's most cultural and scenic neighbourhoods. The event is brought to you by the Vancouver Area Cycling Coalition (VACC) in partnership with the Vancouver Cherry Blossoms Festival and Momentum Magazine. Wintermitts live at Studio 16

From its beginnings in Vancouver in 2005, Wintermitts, is composed of six multi-instrumentalists, has produced two albums and has moved to the forefront of the Canadian independent music scene. After two touring shows, this proudly independent pop-rock band has found loyal fans from Vancouver to Montreal. On stage, they pass around their instruments and their smiles, as their melodies flow, rich and dangerously contagious. They will perform at home in the intimacy of Studio 16, for what promises to be an epic show.

2010 ATCs in Vancouver

This event is from March 17 - 20, from 11am to 5pm. 2010 ATCs in Vancouver is an artist trading card exhibition that encourages artists of all styles and abilities from all over the world to exchange miniature works of art. The goal of this project is to collect 2010 cards that encourage art that incorporates Olympic and Paralympic themes, such as peace, solidarity, and friendship.

Vancouver is a new point of departure and the opportunity to make my dream a living reality, says Ariane Blais, a native of Trois of Rivieres. At the age of 33, this young artist has left her family and her job to devote herself full time to her passion for painting and to immerse herself in the natural surroundings that are her inspiration. She has already had showings in Quebec and will present her work for the first time in British Columbia.

Loads of kewl art exhibitions going on everyday at the Emil Carr institute from 11am -8pm during the period of the Olympics.

The "Electric Skin" exhibit is pretty slick!
